Sarah and Kathy Huckins, owners and operators of The Ivory Gown, are dressmakers and couturiers with extensive experience in the design and creation of made-to-measure wear. To book an appointment please phone Kathy or Sarah. All consultations are by appointment only. Sarah and Kathy can also conduct wardrobe consultations, including outfits for both work and pleasure, to ensure a stylish and coordinating wardrobe, with many customers having a collection of classic garments made each season, made to fit to perfection. They can create an outfit through working with your ideas, creation and decoration of costumes, with Kathy and Sarah having many years experience in the design, or design a costume especially for you. Ballroom and Latin dance costumes are another specialty, men's Latin pants and dance practice wear. Alterations of garments can also be accommodated. Formal and evening gowns can be made to your specifications, race day outfits, as well as cocktail dresses, and garments for all important occasions. As specialists of bridal couture, accessories, and mothers of the bride and groom; veils, flower girls, as well as outfits for bridesmaids, they can work with your ideas and personal style to create a gown that is truly individual to you, hoops and petticoats; and vests and ties for groomsmen and pageboys.
